People gather to line the streets as a King enters Jerusalem. Exclaiming His praises, they rush out to greet Him. People had heard rumors of Him. Was this the One spoken of by their ancestors?

ANOINTED AT BETHANY
Have you ever read a book where you start to see something in one of the characters you don't entirely trust? You see glimpses and foreshadowing of what is coming. For example, in (John 12), Jesus is anointed at Bethany. A scene develops, and we are given a hint of what will happen.

John 11 is a very personal passage. We are confronted with the loss of a close personal friend of Jesus, Lazarus. In this loss, we see the humanity of Jesus. We see how this loss hurts and the pain it causes Jesus.
