We have been studying the “Fruit of the Spirit” in (Galatians 5:22-23). We have noticed the Apostle Paul writing describes the “FRUIT” produced by the Spirit as He speaks of the characteristics that are developed in the Believer.
Gal. 5:22-25 (NKJV)
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit."
As those who live by the Spirit, Paul exhorts us to “keep in step with the Spirit”. As Christians, we need to be diligent in our study, understanding, and application of God’s Word. We need to seek to understand the character He desires to develop in our lives. This is why we have been studying through the Fruit of the Spirit. Lord willing we will continue to study these characteristics described as the fruit produced within the Believer by the Spirit. Today on the simplyRevised podcast PEACE - A Fruit of the Spirit.
