Episode Summary
In (1 Peter 2) Jesus is described as a living stone who was rejected by men. It is true that many in the day of Jesus rejected Him, as some still do today. They did not accept His teaching or that He was the Son of God. They did so despite the Old Testament prophecies concerning the Messiah, despite Jesus’ words and teachings, and the many miracles He performed.
Will, we today acknowledge the Son and follow His word? We must build with the true Cornerstone. If we reject Him, as some have done, choosing to build based on our purpose and desire, our efforts will only result in loss. Believing in Him, we will have everlasting life and the promise of being raised up with Him at the last day.
