Welcome to simplyRevised. A podcast designed to encourage, equip, grow, and strengthen your faith in the Lord.

Jun 26, 2018

Summary:

Last week we began looking at the characteristic of faithfulness. Faithfulness we noticed relates to God as He is faithful. His word is faithful and true. Faithfulness relates to Jesus. Jesus demonstrated faithfulness in fulfilling the word of God, obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. We understand our salvation is dependent upon His faithfulness. His sacrifice on the cross, and His faithful service as High Priest and Mediator of a New Covenant. He lives and serves to always make intercession for us. Faithfulness as well relates to us. It is a fruit developed by the Spirit in the life of a believer. Faithfulness should be a characteristic of who we are in Christ. Faithfulness is shown in our lives as we consistently follow the Word of the Lord in our confession of Him and in our actions and attitudes.
